Paceyard Return & Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping with Paceyard! We take pride in the quality of our products and want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return and refund guidelines below.
Return Eligibility
- You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging and condition.
- Sale, clearance, and discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Any add-on services or customizations related to your order (such as knocking, oiling, or other modifications) are non-returnable.
- If a customer modifies or uses the product (for example, knocking a bat or removing its protective plastic wrap), the item becomes ineligible for return, even if otherwise unused.
- Gift cards are non-returnable and ineligible for refunds.
- All returns require prior approval. Unapproved returns will not be refunded.
How to Request a Return
- To start a return, please contact us via our Contact Page with your order number and reason for return.
- If your return is approved, we will provide detailed return instructions.
Return Shipping
- For all approved returns, Paceyard will provide a prepaid ground shipping return label.
- Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
- The cost of this label will be deducted from your refund.
- Customers may not use their own shipping method for returns. We only accept returns shipped using the prepaid label provided by Paceyard.
- Once approved, the prepaid return label will be emailed to you along with instructions.
- All return shipments will include tracking, as provided by our label.
Refund Processing
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected.
- If the item passes inspection, your refund (minus applicable return shipping costs) will be processed.
- If the item fails inspection (due to use, damage, missing packaging, add-on services, or other reasons listed under our Return Eligibility section), no refund will be issued.
- In such cases, you may request to have the item shipped back to you at your expense, following the process outlined in the Non-Returnable & Unauthorized Returns section.
- Original shipping charges from your initial order are non-refundable.
- Please allow 5–7 business days for your refund to process once we receive and approve your return.
Restocking Fee
Please note that all returned items are subject to a 10% restocking fee. This fee helps cover the cost of inspecting, repackaging, and processing the returned product. The restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
Non-Returnable & Unauthorized Returns
- Items that fail Return Eligibility criteria, fail inspection (as described in the Refund Processing section), or are returned without prior approval will not be eligible for a refund.
- If you would like such non-returnable items sent back to you:
- You must provide a prepaid UPS or FedEx Ground shipping label.
- A minimum handling fee of $5 or 5% of the product price (whichever is higher) will apply.
- We will provide an online payment link or invoice for the handling fee, which must be paid before the package is released.
- If payment and your shipping label are not received within 7 business days of notification, Paceyard reserves the right to dispose of the item.
International Orders
- Currently, Paceyard only ships within the United States.
Warranty & Guarantee Disclaimer
All sports equipment sold on Paceyard.com is subject to natural wear and tear based on use. Cricket bats, in particular, are made from natural willow wood and are susceptible to cracks, dents, or edge damage based on playing conditions, usage, and ball type.
As per standard industry practice, we do not provide any warranty or guarantee on bats or protective equipment. Products are inspected before shipping to ensure quality and balance.
We strongly advise proper knocking-in and usage of protective sheets and bat oil (where applicable) to extend the life of your bat.
